We were exposed to whole day construction noise that ruined our stay. Jackhammers constantly working from 8:30am to 7 pm everyday . We've heard them in our room, on the balcony ( paid more for Oceanview balcony), at the pool area and the beach. Next door facility is under major renovation process. Ocean view obstructed by cranes. Clouds of dust everywhere. Thank you GR Solaris

This resort should not be considered a 4.5 star resort. I went to gr solaris for my boyfriends birthday for 6 days. Pros • staff • beautiful view of the beach • convenient location Cons… where do i start We spent most of the days there outside of the resort which should never be the case if you’re paying for all inclusive. As soon as we got there we tried to make a reservation for one of the restaurants in the resort and they were fully booked for our whole stay. How is that possible? The food was really bad even room service sucked. It was always cold and the food tasted old. The alcohol was garbage too, and the cocktails were too sweet. We ended up buying 2 bottles of tequila outside of the resort and drank it in our rooms. The only thing my boyfriend drank from the bar was the beer, and i had wine most of the stay. They served me a few mojitos with rotten mint that was black so i stuck to wine. Our fridge didn’t work and every time we asked someone to look at it they said they would, but that never happened. They constantly missed notes every time we requested ice for the room or anything else. The bar staff , cleaners and room service workers were amazing though. If it weren’t for them that place would get 0 stars. Nightly activities suck there and the bar closes super early (11:30) I wish i looked at the reviews before i booked this place. Won’t be back. Forgot to mention they will be super pushy about selling you a membership there, and the minute you decline they

Loved our stay here, smaller resort, perfect size, food was excellent, staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. The resort next door is still under construction (demolition?) At the rate they're going should be done by 2030...kinda noisy but you tune it out. Beach was great, very windy for a few days but it was beautiful sand and blue water. We would definitely stay here again.
